Even though it feels like Summer 2012 is a long way off given the cold wet weather the UK has had for the past couple of weeks, designers are already rolling out their pre spring summer 2013 collections. Amongst the collections print is abundant - ranging from classic florals to edgy tribal designs. Exquisite prints have been bursting out onto the catwalk in the last few seasons we've seen rows of vegetables adorning dresses at Dolce & Gabanna and chandeliers and tables as parts of house house interiors depicted on skirts at Mary Katrantzou.
The growing trend for prints shows no sign of slowing down in coming seasons, which makes me happy as I'm incredibly inspired by the classically beautiful floral and lace prints at Erdem and Carolina Herrera, the haunting statues printed on long flowing dresses at Giles and the simply stunning embroidered flowers on Valentino's sheer dresses.
